On Sunday the Pastor at the church kept repeating the phrase “leave it in December.” Leave what in December? Everything and anything that does not help to move you forward along your journey in Christ Jesus. Anything that drags you down, frustrates or causes you undo stress leave it in December. Whatever or whoever it was that caused you to feel like you were fearful and unworthy leave it and them in December. If you didn’t get a chance to drop off that baggage it’s not to late you can even leave it right now never to look back but to look towards Jesus the lover of your soul moving full speed ahead as you trust Him to guide you in your purpose into all that He has for you. So let go of whatever it may be that hindered or haunted you on last year even up to December. As the word was shared with me, I encourage you also to experience everyday going forth living a life of renewal, revival, and refreshing of the Spirit. Welcome to the new year…and welcome to the new you!
English Standard Version (ESV)
18 “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old 19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
What are you letting go and choosing to forget as you allow God to do a new thing in your life?
