Have you ever heard the adage “Don’t talk about it be about it”? Well today’s challenge is an example of that very saying. Many times it’s easy to talk about what a good talk such as being grateful but, it’s really all in the actions we take to go along with what we say. I want to be a person who not only talks the talk but walks the walk. That means intentionally acting out what I speak. Today let’s show our gratitude to whomever, whenever and wherever.

Your Task: Meaningful acts of gratitude

Make it an intentional act to show gratitude today. When you say thank you to someone today look that person in the eye and mean it, not jus out of an habitual response. Inform the people who service you on today how you appreciate them. Be on the look out for ways to let someone know how they make a difference in your life.

Daily Journaling: Write 3 Things You Are Grateful for Today.

In addition to today’s task, think about 3 things you are grateful for today. These 3 things can be about things that could have happened but didn’t or things that happened that you didn’t even expect.  It can be anything in your life that you are grateful for today.

The 3 things I am grateful for today:

1. Songs of praise!

2. My children

3. Basic necessities.
